Refund & Cancellation Policy

Virtual Universe Technology Private Limited values customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which you may request a refund or cancellation for our products and services, including Chartonix subscriptions.
Try before you pay: Every new user gets 3 free chart analyses on Chartonix to evaluate the product before purchasing a paid plan.
1. Subscription Refunds (Chartonix)
Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis based on the following conditions:
- 7-Day Refund Window: If you are dissatisfied with our service, you may request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase, provided you have used less than 25% of your monthly chart analyses quota.
- Annual Plans: Annual subscriptions are eligible for a pro-rata refund within the first 14 days of purchase, less any usage charges.
- Auto-Renewals: If you forgot to cancel before auto-renewal, you may request a refund within 48 hours of the renewal charge, provided no significant usage has occurred.
2. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Subscriptions where more than 25% of monthly chart-analysis quota has been consumed
- Subscriptions older than 7 days (monthly) or 14 days (annual)
- Custom development services that have been delivered
- Setup, onboarding, or consultation fees
- Any third-party costs (payment gateway charges, etc.)
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
- You will continue to have access to the service until then
- No partial refund is provided for the remainder of the current cycle (unless within the refund window above)

4. Custom Development & Service Projects
For custom web development, app development, AI consulting, or similar project-based services:
- Refund eligibility is governed by the signed Service Agreement / SOW
- If work has not yet started, a refund minus a 10% administrative fee may be issued
- Once work has commenced, refunds are determined based on completed milestones
- No refund is provided after final delivery and acceptance
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email Virtualuniversetechnology@gmail.com with subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Name / Order ID]"
- Include your account email, order/transaction ID, date of purchase, and reason for refund
- Our team will respond within 3 business days
- If approved, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method
6. Chargebacks & Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account. We encourage you to reach out to our support team first — most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably.
7. Refund Processing Time
- Approval: 3 business days
- Bank/Card refunds: 7-10 business days
- UPI/Wallet refunds: 3-5 business days
- International cards: up to 14 business days
8. Educational Disclaimer
Chartonix is an educational tool. Refunds will not be granted on grounds of perceived inaccuracy of pattern detection or scenario probabilities, as no AI tool can guarantee accuracy in market analysis.
9. Policy Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your refund request.
